You can find us here in the second house on the left with the small stairs leading up to our workshop. In the background the tower of the Westerkerk.
An impression of my workshop located in the heart of Amsterdam near the Anne Frank house and the Westerchurch. The area is called the "Jordaan". Lots of artists have settled in this quaint little neighborhood in the center of Amsterdam. In 1982 I started my goldsmithing shop and gallery in a little street right in the heart of the Jordaan.
I have tried to work and create jewelry according to my own concept. Some of my aims where:
- To avoid temporary trends.
- To create a personal and recognizable style.
- To produce high quality jewelry which even after years will be worn with happyness and satisfaction.
To my opinion a "beautiful" piece of jewelry at the same time means an "elegant" piece of jewelry. Something special, yet not overdone. You should be able to wear it in your day to day life as well as on special occasions.
A piece of jewelry which has been created for you with love and concentration will eventually become a part of yourself.
